Dogs with Spinal Cord InjuriesUniversity of California, San Francisco (UCSF). “Saving dogs with spinal cord injuries.”ScienceDaily, 18 Jan. 2012.

  1. my 9 # dog got hit by car aug. 8. shes starting to walk but rt. back leg is weak. how do I potty train her again.

    1. Hi Mary,

This is hard to comment on without more information. Is her leg always going to be weak or is she still recovering? Swimming is good for building muscle without straining the limb. I have a house training cheat sheet that I can send if you’d like but I don’t know enough about the extent of her injury or house soiling behavior at this point. Let me know if you want me to send the cheat sheet.

      John
