Brilliant! John is an incomparable quiet force of instruction and information. We booked John for in-house training for our 5 month old Dalmatian, Lily. He prepared us for his arrival and started training before he entered the house. I would highly recommend John for all dog training needs. His approach to training is kind, calm and extremely effective. Sending John daily videos of our progress is a great way to get immediate feedback on how Lily is doing and how to improve and carry on the daily training. This is much more productive than a weekly training session. This is the second time we have had John's in-home dog training services. With his services, we trained our first Dalmatian 20 years ago to be the perfect family dog. To have these services take place in our home was perfect. I can’t recommend John highly enough. We started working with him to deal with behavioral issues (biting/nipping, counter surfing, minor resource guarding, etc.) for our 4-month old Golden Retriever, Cooper. We had tried two other exclusively positive reinforcement training classes but had limited success addressing the behavioral problems. In just over a month, the improvements have been truly remarkable. It has been weeks since Cooper even tried nipping/biting, which was a daily occurrence pre-John. He now sees us as teachers vs. roommates and it has had a positive effect on our relationship with Cooper. We knew John was the right fit as soon as he came to our house - Cooper immediately showed him a level of respect and obedience that he had never shown us (but since has shown us). His feedback on the videos we send in is always timely, thorough, and helpful (I would still recommend John to a friend who could only meet with him online). Trust me, reach out to John if you need help training your dog.

John Wade knows dogs inside and out. He appears to weave magic as he had my 9 week puppy staring at him in relative obiedience as soon as he walked in my door. He is a great teacher. He is helping me , never had a puppy before, learn how to communicate to my puppy the basic things that matter. I am so grateful. FIVE STARS

John has been helping my partner & I for the past 10 days. Our dogs are both 5 & we had some reservations on how they’d accept training. We’re in the process of training our Australian cattle dog, Milo. John provided a very thorough home visit, providing us knowledge on the breed and dogs behaviours in general as well as showing us examples of the exercises we would be doing with Milo. John was the only trainer we reached out to that could confirm that they’ve worked with a herding and working breed. Not only does he have many years of experience, he helps you understand your dogs way of thinking and reasons for their behaviour. Johns videos have allowed us to review training materials on our own time. They’re very thorough and it’s clear that John takes the time to provide a detailed response. We’re still in the early stages of training but so far we appreciate Johns effort and expertise!
