Canine Acupressure for Arthritic Dogs Video Series

Someone sent me a pdf showing all the acupressure points for a dog and what they “point to” I did a google search to learn more and found this video series about using acupressure for arthritic dogs. Here’s an excerpt by the lady in the videos. I think her name is Dawn Smith.

“Acupressure is highly beneficial to arthritic dogs. Learn about canine acupressure with this free pet care video series.

Traditional Chinese medicine is considered a complementary or alternative medical system in most parts of the world. It includes a range of traditional medical practices originating in China that developed over thousands of years. Traditional Chinese medicine practices include theories, diagnosis and treatments such as herbal medicine, acupuncture and massage. Traditional Chinese medicine theory claims that processes of the human body are interrelated and in constant interaction with the environment. Its practitioners believe that signs of disharmony help them to understand, treat and prevent illness and disease. Though traditional Chinese medicine has generally been practiced on humans, animals can also reap the benefits. In this free pet care video series, a dog expert will demonstrate how acupressure can be extremely helpful to arthritic dogs. Learn about acupressure meridian lines and pressure points, as well as how to keep your dog comfortable and safe during the session. Treat your most loyal canine friend to a relaxing acupressure session using this guide. He’ll feel better, live longer, and he definitely deserves it.”
