Municipalities are starting to encourage pet owners to compost their pet’s poop. They hold workshops, have booklets and here is one of many videos I found on the topic. I’m also attaching a pdf with some instructions. The fellow in the video says “American dogs and cats generate 10 million tons of waste every year, most of which is thrown into the trash and then winds up in landfills and never actually decomposes.” Here’s some additional information: Dog Poop Composting Brochure
